MFC 94 saw Zaakir Badat making his debut with a 1st round win via ground and pound against Henco Van Der Westhusien. Badat is looking to make a big statement with his next bout against the unstoppable Andile Madlala the former MFC Light Heavyweight Champion.
Although Badat proved in his debut fight that his ground game is nothing short of impressive with speed and strength he will be having a tough time against Madlala.
With 15 years of training, 5 years of teaching Badat has confidence in his experience and says Madala should “Come ready to fight. I’m ready for this. I’ve been training hard on the stand up with lots of high intensity”..
Badat says even though he hasn’t showcased his stand up , that Madlala and the fans can expect a “A different kind of animal” at MFC 96 – Road To Glory.
